COURSE DESCRIPTION: This is an interactive hands-on experience to learn the basics of the growing language of Java. It is a prominent tool that is used in the creation of everyday utility and entertainment devices and has been the stepping stone for big-name successes such as Minecraft. No background knowledge is necessary!
Open to 5th-9th graders. Ends on August 13, 2021.
AGE: Kindergarten to 9th grade

COURSE DESCRIPTION: This club is an honest, judgment-free zone where students' academic needs will be met. We provide drop-in math, science, English language arts, and social studies support for any student that is struggling with homework or is having difficulties grasping the content they are learning in school. Please come if you would like extra help with any academics, and we hope to see you there!

COURSE DESCRIPTION: This is an introductory course to computer science using Code.org. It teaches the foundational concepts of programming using drag and drop blocks rather than a text language such as JavaScript or Python. Blocks are an easier way to get started and even top universities today begin their classes with block-based programming.

TIME: Tuesdays from 3:30 to 4:30 PM
COURSE DESCRIPTION: This is a beginner’s piano class. Throughout this course, you’ll learn and develop a powerful set of tools that will allow you to take on the piano with confidence, from strong finger technique to reading music to understanding the fundamentals of rhythm, phrasing, and harmony.
Having a keyboard or piano to play on is preferred, but not required.
